Terms of sale and use

Last updated 5 November 2026

What you are buying

A digital download of the Scam-Resistant iPhone Setup for Aging Parents bundle: an illustrated guide, walkthrough videos, checklists, worksheets and a printable phone safety card. It is delivered automatically after payment as a single ZIP file. No coaching, personal setup or support service is included.

Price and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. You pay once; there is no subscription.

No refunds

Because the bundle is a digital product that is delivered to you immediately, it cannot be returned, so all sales are final. Please use the preview pages and video on the product page before you buy. If a file is damaged or won't open, contact support and we'll help you get a working copy. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be excluded.

Updates

Updates to the bundle are free for one year from your purchase.

Your licence

You may use the bundle for your own household or care circle, and print the worksheets and cards for that purpose. You may not resell it, publish it, or share the complete bundle outside your household or care circle.

Using the guide responsibly

The guide is general information, written for the iOS version named in it. Apple can change settings, and features vary by region, carrier and model. No setting can prevent every scam. Only change another adult's phone with their informed permission. The guide is not legal or financial advice and does not replace your bank, carrier, Apple Support or emergency services.

Independence

Useful by BK is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc., the FTC, the FBI or any bank or carrier.

Liability

We work hard to keep the guide accurate, but it is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that result from using or being unable to use it, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy applies to your purchase.
